Got to show our experience at a fish farm. The houseboat crew pulled up for the night and so we got off for a walk along the path alongside the backwaters. We came across a fish farm and the guys there rushed to show us the farm. This included them feeding the fish. They had buckets of chicken entrails which was the food. They also had buckets with chicken legs in which we will come to in a minute.
The lad dragged a bucket of smelly chicken bits and proceeded to throw it into the fish. At the same time he was trying to catch a specimen to show us. Well it was a frenzy of fish grabbing bits of food and the guys arms was in the middle of this. 😮🐟. Hurrah he caught one which was about 9inches long but there were much larger ones acting like Piranhas !!! . We asked what the legs are for and got the impression that they heat those up to cook then feed them as well 🙁.
This was not an experience that I will to repeat. Def been there done that !!!
